Annabel Pemberton

Annabel is the Founder of Assenteo, a data protection platform for B2B AI. She is also the Co-founder of Law School 2.0, a learning platform and community helping 5,000+ future lawyers break into legal innovation and use technology in their practice. Annabel works closely with B2B startups, law firms, and investment partners to streamline data protection across the US, UK, and EU. Annabel has advised 50+ early-stage companies and scale-ups in highly regulated sectors including health tech, fintech, legal and AI infrastructure. She has also served in the Data Protection Officer function for companies such as Upheal and Exponea, helping teams integrate compliance into product without slowing down innovation. Annabel’s work is grounded in the belief that regulation shouldn’t be a blocker to innovation.
