Astrid is a lawyer and designer based near Munich, known for pioneering the Legal Design method, which enhances the accessibility of legal content and processes. As the founder of AK Legal Design and co-author of 'The Legal Design Book,' she advises legal departments, law firms, and public institutions on user-centered solutions, focusing on innovation, digital transformation, and ethical AI integration. Astrid is a lecturer at the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession, co-founder of the Liquid Legal Institute, and a member of the Legal Design Journal editorial team.
